He has over 26 years of experience, of which more than 16 years is in the Microfinance sector. He is a Board Member of Sa - Dhan and Chairman of KAMFI (Kerala Association of Microfinance Institutions). He is also serving in the Board of ESAF Swasraya Producers Company Ltd, ESAF Healthcare Services (P) Ltd, ESAF Homes & Infrastructure (P) Ltd and ESAF Retail (P) Ltd.

Mr. George Thomas

George Thomas - Director Operations holds a Masters Degree in (Env. & Eco.)and a Post Graduate Diploma in Co-operation and Rural Studies (PGDCR). He has over 13 Years of service in the Government sector, 5 years experience in NGO sector and more than 7 years of experience in Microfinance. He is also serving in the Board of ESAF Swasraya Producers Company Ltd, ESAF Healthcare Services (P) Ltd, ESAF Homes & Infrastructure (P) Ltd, ESAF Retail (P) Ltd and ESAF Staff Welfare Trust.

Dr. Idicheria Ninan

Dr. Idicheria Ninan - Non – executive Director, is a professor holding a doctrate in Theology from Oxford University, London.

He has over 30 Years of experience in Academics and Administration in various institutions and 8 years of experience in Microfinance. He is also associated as Professor at SAIACS, Principal of IPCKTS, and as a Research Guide in University of Mysore and Board Member-ESAF Society.

Mr. Vikraman Ampalakat

Vikraman Ampalakkat - Former CGM, SIDBI and currently Independent Director of ESAF Microfinance. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Science and has more than 38 years of working experience, of which more than 8 years is in Microfinance. He also serves in the Board of Muthoot Fincorp Ltd., Ujjivan Financial Services (P) Ltd. and Kerala Financial Corporation (Nominee of SIDBI).

Mr. Cherian Thomas

Cherian Thomas - Independent Director, holds Degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Finance. Currently he works as Group Head and Chief Operating Officer, IDFC Foundation. He has more than 24 years of experience mainly in Banking & Finance sector. He is also serving in the Boards of Infrastructure Development Corporation (Karnataka) Limited, Uttarakhand Infrastructure Development Company Limited, Delhi Integrated Multi-Model Transit System Limited, Buddha Smriti Udhyaan Development Company Limited, IDFC PPP Trusteeship Company Limited, J. C. Advisory Services Private Limited, and as a Trustee, India PPP Capacity Building Trust, and as a Member, Governing Board, Shikhar Development Foundation.

Mr. Rajan Samuel

Rajan Samuel - Independent Director, is a Senior Consultant, Housing Finance of Habitat for Humanity International. He has over 25 Years of experience in Microfinance and social development sectors.

Ms.  Sreedevi Venugopal

Sreedevi Venugopal - Non - executive Director and a nominee of ESAF SHG Federation (Kozhinjampara, Palakkad). She has experience at field level as a sangam member and a cluster leader. She serves in the Board of ESAF SHG Federation as an elected Trustee.

Ms. K. C. Ranjani

K. C. Ranjani - Non - executive Director, nominated by Dia Vikas Capital Private Limited, a major investor of the Company. She is a Financial Service and Development Specialist with over 20 years of experience in SIDBI. She served as a  senior Microfinance Specialist at MicroSave. In 2007 she joined Opportunity International Australia to set up and head Dia Vikas Capital as its Managing Director. She holds a Post Graduate Degree in Bank Management.

N.A.J.V.S. Sundara Rao

N.A.J.V.S. Sundara Rao - Non – executive Director, nominated by Maanaveeya Holdings and Investments Private Limited, a major investor of the Company. He is the Managing Director of Maanaveeya and Regional Manager, Oikocredit with over 36 years of experience in both Public and Private Sectors. He is a qualified Cost Accountant and Company Secretary and also holds MBA (Financial Management) from BITS.

Ravindranathan Prabha

Ravindranathan Prabha - He is a former General Manager of Canara bank, having more than 3 decades of experience in banking and financial sectors. He is also a consultant to Sa - Dhan and is in the Boards of various MFI forums and bodies. He represents all the SHG federations in the ESAF Microfinance Board. He was the Chairman of the South Malabar Grameen Bank and also holds a Masters Degree in Agriculture.
